Standard Installation

  1. Installation must be at a permanent resident home or office.
  2. Mounting of dish to approved surface.
  3. Routing and grounding of two (2) runs of approved RG6 cable up to 110 feet (installations over 110 feet are not allowed) to modem location.
  4. Cable to be routed through one exterior wall and into a dual wall faceplate and one interior wall or floor or into unfinished basement and then routed up through the floor.
  5. Grounding of dish to NEC or local code specification
  6. Peaking dish to service provider's specifications
  7. Setting up modem using provider procedures
  8. Demonstrating surfing capability on customer's computer (customer is directed).
  9. Set-up e-mail on customer's computer

    1. Swept tested to 3 GHz
    2. 18 AWG solid bare copper core
    3. Aluminum/poly tape foil
    4. 34 AWG aluminum braid
  2. Maximum attenuation 10.92dB @ 3000 MHz

Non-Standard Installation

  1. Installation at a non-resident home or business
  2. Installing a WildBlue Antenna on a structure not accessible with a 25' ladder
  3. Non-penetrating roof mounts, chimney mounts and installing a pole for pole mounts
  4. Set-up of a small office/home office network
  5. Combined WildBlue/DirecTV installation using upgrade kits at a later time.
